Confessions of an Absent Scrapper
It has been months since I have been able to spend real time at the scrap booking desk. Last Saturday I finally got a chance , well stole the time really, to play again,. There were plenty of other things I could have been, should have been doing. I finally decided that the chores will be there later and I needed some scrap therapy. It's not that I haven't been looking at scrappy stuff, reading my scrappy mags or thinking scrap booking, I have. I have been "collecting" little bits and pieces of scrappy goodness since before the trip to Texas. I finally sat down to organize them and play. It took me all of the Morning and part of the afternoon Saturday just to clean the space up so Mojo would come out to play. I have determined that Mojo is OCD and won't play in scrappy land if there is a mess around. So once things were clean, I spent a few more hours looking through and sorting pics so I could decide what to do. Mojo finally got rolling about 9PM. Wonderful, I'm ready for bed and she wants to play. Well, I finished 2 layouts before finally giving in to sleep. Sunday Mojo had run away. I decided to finish my son's Cub Scout album. Now that he has moved up to Boy Scouts there is a clear end to this album. I managed a few pages for the album. Mostly going back and filling in things I missed. I now only have the last year to complete and I can finally call something finished. Seriously, I have this disorder that is inherited from my mom. I call it Unfinished-itis, I have several projects that I have either started and not finished or worse, purchased the items for and not started. I keep telling myself that one day I'll be caught up. Life might be boring if that were true. So I call this weekend a success because I did get back to scrappyland but time will tell if I can keep up.
